TIME FOR SWANS TO GO FOR CURRIE

Whilst other former Eltham Junior’s Adam Simpson (North Melb) and David Zaharakis (Essendon) are taking the headlines, another Eltham Junior Daniel Currie has been binding his time in the Sydney Swans Reserves, waiting his chance and surely the time for Paul Roos to select Currie in the Swans team must be close.

20 year old Currie has been named in the Swans Reserves best players for the last 4 matches.

Currie has had a tough pre-season with a groin injury restricting his output.  Whilst ruckman do take longer to develop compared with the average AFL types, Daniel’s name must be one now being considered by Roos and his selection panel in the coming weeks.
