Craig Hayes was introduced as new Senior Coach of the Eltham Football Club before a large gathering of players at Central Park on Tuesday 11th November, which included a large number of new faces to the club.

Craig was originally from Eaglehawk in the Bendigo Football League prior to playing over 150 games with the Heidelberg Football Club. Included in that was a Club Best and Fairest and Two senior premierships as a player.

Craig was assistant coach of Newbridge in the Loddon Valley football League 94/95 and was Assistant Coach in 1988/9 at Heidelberg.

Craig was again last season assistant coach at Heidelberg in what was a premiership year for that Club.

Craig is excited to be given the opportunity to develop a young list of players at Eltham, and is looking forward to what hopefully will be a very exciting journey ahead for the Club.

He is confident that with a concerted effort not just from Committee, but from Players, Supporters and Members the club can see itself through the difficulties it is facing at present.
