Eltham has bolstered its key position stocks with former skipper PAUL CURRIE and defender MATTHEW KEYS returning to Eltham Central Park.

Currie, who captained the Panthers for four years between 2010 to 2013, kicked 208 goals in 91 senior appearances for the Panthers in his previous stint at the club.

He earned selection in the Division 1 Team of the Year in both 2010 and 2012 and won Eltham’s leading goal kicker award three times.

He moved to Shepparton United in 2014 and played 54 matches for the Goulburn Valley Football League outfit over the past three years.

Keys played 64 matches for the Panthers between 2011 and 2014 after joining from Sydney side Campbelltown.

He joined Shepparton Swans in 2015 and played 34 games in the Goulburn Valley Football League.

Eltham has also submitted transfers for Shepparton Swans running defender MICHAEL TINKLER and St Mary’s youngster JOEL TOLLI. Tinkler has played 95 senior games for Shepparton over the past six years, while Tollie has played 16 senior games for the Burra over the past two seasons while still being eligible for under-19s.
