The 2015 Annual meeting was held on Wednesday evening 28th October at the clubrooms.
We are pleased to report that the entire 2015 Committee of Management will remain intact for 2016 with additionally Andrew Hall also being elected onto the Committee.

Fixture requests
It was reported to the members that the club has lodged 2 specific fixture requests to the NFL.
The first being a Good Friday March 25th fixture at Eltham Central Park against Greensborough. This request has the backing of the Greensborough, and hopefully will get NFL approval. The possibility of a semi twilight timeslot was also discussed, and got a very positive reaction from the meeting.
The second being a home game against Montmorency on the Saturday of the Anzac day weekend continuing the tradition between the two clubs.
Recruiting
It was reported that the re-signing of the current list for 2016 is well under way.
Recruiting will be under a selective approach on not only the on field needs of the club but also that any prospective players, culturally being a good fit off-field
Off Season functions
To improve the financial position of the club two off-season functions are being planned.
1. Live on the Plenty Green
Where – 174 Yan Yean Road Plenty When – Saturday 5th December 2015 – 1pm – 6pm Cost – TBA Tickets include – Entertainment and Food –
Entertainment – Musical – TBA
Drinks at bar prices.
2. Annual Panther Open Golf Day 2016
When- Monday 19th February 2016
Time – Registration is 8.00 am. Tee Off 8.30 am. Meal around 1.00pm
Where – The Growling Frog Golf Course, Donnybrook Rd Yan Yean.
Cost – $100 a head Includes – Round of Golf, Gift Bag as well as Lunch and complimentary first drink at the restaurant after the game.
Great Prizes will be awarded to each member of the winning Teams as well as Individual prizes for nearest the pin on the par 3’s and the longest drive on the designated hole. A great day held last year and again Open for Members, Supporters and General Public with Women most welcome.

Life Membership Presentation – Luke McCreery
On the night, Luke McCreery was awarded Life Membership of the Eltham Football Club.
Luke was presented with his Life Membership by our most recent Life Membership Inductee Lachie Richardson, who spoke in glowing terms about Luke and his service and dedication to the Panthers through both the clubs good and difficult times.
Luke achieved the milestone of 200 Open Age games this season. This qualifying Luke for Eltham Football Club Life Membership.
Luke debuted for his first Senior game for the club in 1998, and has played a total 141 Senior games 64 Reserves games (205)
Luke played in both our two most recent Senior Premierships in 2000 and 2002

Panther co-captain, midfielder Bradyn Taglieri held on from a fast finishing Billy Glasgow to win of the Senior Best and Fairest award by three votes. Bradyn polled votes in 15 of 21 games for the year winning amassing 139 Votes.
Billy Glasgow followed up from his 2014 Best and Fairest with another great year in placing second. Billy played 19 out of the 21 games for the year and polled votes in 16 of these games.
Anton Woods had a great first year with the club with his 3rd placing in the Best and Fairest with 81 votes.
Lewis Glasgow won his first senior trophy when he was awarded the Coaches award on the night.

Eltham Senior Coach and AFCA Coach of the year for Northern Region, Mario Bandera along with our four “NFL Team of the Year” members Bradyn Taglieri, James Kroussoratis, Anton Woods and Billy Glasgow
Ailin Hourigan won the 2015 Reserves Best and Fairest with 87 votes. Ailin played 17 reserves games polling votes in 10 of these.
Kyle O’Sullivan recieved the runner up Best and Fairest award for the Reserves despite just playing 8 Reserves games for the year but polled in 7 of these scoring 74 votes. 31 of his 74 votes were in finals games allowing him to be awarded Reserves Best Finals Player as well.
Luke McCreery scored a third placing with 54 Votes from 8 of his 13 games for the year.

Eltham players featured in the Voting for NFL Best and Fairest awards at the NFL Presentation Night held last night 14th September
In the Senior Voting – Anton Woods (above) second with 22 votes was just 2 votes away from the winner Lower Plenty’s Matthew Vasilevski on 24 votes
The Reserves Voting Jamie Doukas and Thomas Snell were our best vote-getters with an equal fourth place finish with 11 votes each
While in the Under 19 award, Kyle O’Sullivan came equal 3rd with 16 votes from just 6 games played in that grade
On the night full forward James Kroussoratis also received his award for being the A Grade Leading Goalkicker for 2015 with 65 goals in the home and away season (previous winners for Eltham have been Roy Kelly in 1953 with 64 goals and J.West 128 goals in 1933)
