The Eltham Football Club would like to announce Tim Bongetti as Senior Coach for season 2023.
Tim has been an unbelievable player and most recently ventured into the coaching department. A prodigy from the Northern Knights who just missed out on an opportunity at the bulldogs. Tim found his way to the VFL were he played for Tasmania and Werribee. After stints in the VFL he went back to his local club for 5 years where he captain all 5 years. He was rewarded for his hard work with a premiership in 2014
While playing at Greensborough he played 4 years at the Tiwi Bombers in the NT where he also won a premiership. He played 1 year at Seymour lions but found himself a new home in 2016 at the Pines. Tim was Co-captain every year plus an assistant coach. Through his time at the Pines he won the 2016 MPNFL league MVP, represented the league in 2016 & 2017 plus was selected for Vic Country in 2017. In 2018 he won another Premiership.
In 2019 he was selected to Assistant coach the u19 interleague. After 4 years at the Pines, Tim made the move to East Keilor in 2021. After arriving in 2021 he was appointed captain/assistant coach and also won the Premiership in the same year. In 2022 he was appointed head coach of East Keilor in EDLFL Premier Division where he just fell short finishing one game out of finals.
An unbelievable career who will slot into the Panther family very nicely. We welcome Tim, Jess, Billi & Pippa to the Eltham football club with open arms
